C1 Final Exam

Both C1 phases in one sitting: distance and density, register and cohesion, lexical precision, long-form interpretation, source synthesis and evidence evaluation.

  • · 70 questions drawn from a bank of 177, across all twenty-four C1 lessons
  • · Mostly producing and reformulating German — transformation, attribution, paraphrase and synthesis
  • · Long texts and three-source sets, each asked about several times so that one sitting is finishable
  • · No hints and no retries — this measures what you can do unaided
  • · About 60 minutes; the reading and synthesis sections carry a lot of text
  • · Your A1, A2, B1, B2 progress and results are not affected.
  • · Your practice mastery is not changed. The result is a report, not a reset.
