Work, travel and plans
A day in the home office, a weekend away, learning German, a bike in the workshop.
Same skill, slightly longer texts. These ones use the grammar from the second half of A2 — the passive, purpose clauses, hypotheticals — so reading them is also a way of meeting those forms in the wild.
wird + Partizip II means something is being done, and the doer may never be mentioned at all.
You will also meet um … zu and damit doing their job in a real text: they tell you what something is for, which is often exactly what a question asks about.
One reading habit worth building here: when a text says der Server, auf dem unsere Anwendung läuft, do not try to untangle it word by word. Read it as two facts — there is a server, and the application runs on it.
Assuming "wird repariert" is a future tense because of wird.Checking what follows: an infinitive means future, a participle means passive.
This single check unlocks most notices and status updates you will read.
